Things To Do and Places To Go!

Laurentian Hills was built for outdoor enthusiasts. We are a four-season region with activities for anyone who appreciates the outdoors.

On Land

Laurentian Hills has ATV and snowmobile trails in the municipality that are groomed and kept by the local associations. Trail passes are required. There is plenty of open area for ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts throughout our municipality.

Explore the hiking and walking trails throughout the Petawawa Research Forest and Algonquin Park.  Relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches located on Burkes Road (Burkes Beach) and Tee Lake Road (Tee Lake Beach).  Click below for some of our land-based activities in the region.

In Water

With the Ottawa River flowing alongside our municipality, there is nothing you can't do on the water here. Whether you're into fishing, boating, paddling, swimming or sailing, the water is always available for play. You can travel the Ottawa River easily from Rolphton to Pembroke.
